Checklist
Buyers
- Obtain a lender (if using one) and fulfill loan requirements
- Complete the Buyers Information Sheet & Wire Fraud Disclosure
- Can be found under useful documents or by emailing your pre-closer
- Set up wire transfer of proceeds with your bank
- Notify your pre-closer if a new survey is to be ordered and if it will need to be recorded
- If you are not able to attend the closing, select rather you would like to do a mail-away closing or get a POA to sign on your behalf
- Bring two forms of ID to closing
- Let us know if anyone is to be included on the title but not on the loan
Sellers
- Let your pre-closer know of any changes to the sales contract
- Complete the Sellers Information Sheet & Wire Fraud Disclosure
- Can be found under useful documents or by emailing your pre-closer
- Provide us with the contact information for any lender who holds a mortgage, loans, or equity against the property being sold
- Provide us with an updated address where we can send the recorded documents after the closing
- Provide us with contact information for the homeowner’s association, if there is one
- Provide us with the contact information for owners of shared well or anybody that you currently pay for water
- Not including public or city water
- Bring a driver’s license or another form of government-issued photo ID for the closing
- If funds are needed for the closing please arrange with your bank to wire the funds to our office
- Notify your pre-closer if you would prefer a check or wire-transfer for your proceeds.
Refinancing
- Obtain a lender and fulfill loan requirements
- Complete the REFI Information Sheet and Wire Fraud Disclosure
- Can be found under useful documents or by emailing your pre-closer
- Provide us with any lender information needed to payoff previous loan
- Bring Driver’s License or any other form of photo ID to the closing
- Before your closing reach out to your bank set up transfer of funds for closing
